IF: Imagination

In my imagination you are having tea with me.

This is actually a bunny toy my mother played with as a girl,
I imagine her having tea him.
He (the drawing) is life size and will be hangin' out on stage
in the junkshop I am illustrating for the 12th of October ArtNight here in Pasadena.

  1. Sad bunny in schoolboy uniform! Holy cow so sweet. The teeny outfit and his little feet just kill me. Adorable!

    1. Thanks Cindy, your comments are always appreciated, even when I can't respond! Thank you! In this drawing series, I have been requesting various items from people I know to fill the "shop" This one from my mom, got me in much the same way he grabbed you, something in the stitching on that sweet little mouth!

  2. Poor guy, he looks so sad! Maybe he's a coffee drinker? (Great job, btw)

  3. He's beautiful but he does look a little lonely. I hope your mum comes back soon to play tea parties with him again. Thanks to Cindy and her one lovely blog award list I've found your site! Very cool!

    1. Claire, thank you so much for stopping by, it was such a busy week for me last week I haven't had a minute to check things out. What a wonderful thing, I will look forward checking out your blog, your name is familiar. Thank you so much for stopping by! ps the bunny has a little bear friend who hangs out with him regularly, but he never seems to smile...
