IF: Refresh



IF: Refresh....

I thought about using the whale image that is in process and another post here on this blog, but I am trying to create new work for these weekly challenges.  So here it is Refresh.  (I remember times when my toddler son would choose a 5 gal bucket over the pool in the backyard for a quick refresh and myself noticing that warning on every bucket that we always chose to ignore, although I never let him dive in, per the warning:)

    Great scene! I love the colors. This seems to be among your favorite palettes? Love the initial sketch, too. :D

    How are you finding the new IF? I am noticing a lot of bad links for stuff I'd like to comment on. Also, if people are not aware they need to scroll down and wait for the next images to load, I fear there will be a lot less commenting. Ah well, I suppose we shall adapt to the change or move on. ;)

      yep, you caught me using my go to palette:) I have thing for blue and ochre.. have to stop myself sometime...Maybe this week I will ban myself from them!

      I haven't a chance to poke around in the new IF much, but my initial thoughts are that the layoutlooks lovely, but some of the user friendliness is missing.. Some of the images are pixelated as I am not sure what people are doing with their previews.. and I think less actual blogs/sites will be visited, the preview is just large enough that you might not bother with clicking on them to see more and the refresh (no pun intended) is tedious and as you mentioned unclear unless you know to scroll and wait for it.... the other issue I noticed is the lack of previous topics. I liked being able to look back at the archives... hmm jury is still out for me,

    Great Illo. Love the colours. Reminds me during my kid years. What a great way to refresh yourself on a hot summer day : )
