IF: HAUNT

Happy Halloween Everyone!!
I thought about doing another before decided on this one for my post for the week.. but I think with costume finalizing and all the business of the week, I would go ahead with this.

This is a digital manipulation of an original ink sketch on toned paper I did, the full render is in another post on this blog.

I love working with my drawings digitally afterward, so much experimentation potential without the fear of working on the original, reminds me of what I like about traditional printmaking, you can always try something else in the next print.

  1. This is different from what I normally see, and refreshing. And I agree; I can't wait to scan my work and start plussing it in PH. It's so darn forgiving compared to the old way.

  2. Oops, I meant 'PS'. If it was actually Photoshop then I could have corrected that.

I like this kind of houses, there was one in my neighborhood but it was demolished to make a new modern building :(

    1. Thanks, I love these kinds of houses too, I sourced a number of them for inspiration for the drawing. I like modern architecture, but there are so many stories inside houses like this!

  6. Love the original and I love this version, too. This effect is particularly great when you've got so many lines and details. Very cool!
